Why become a (math) teacher? So that years later, you can receive a note such as this from a former student who is about to graduate college and continue her educational journey in medical school. It is a joy to see people around us flourish.
I always thought of myself as an artist (in mediums of math, edu, transforming individuals & orgs, and health). But now I’m officially a professional glass artist w/ a gallery carrying some of my works. Visit The Old Bakery & Emporium Gallery on Congress Ave in #ATX

My dear friend Fay Vincent passed away yesterday. He was a very special person and will be deeply missed. Here we are together in happier times back in 2008 @WilliamsCollege:

Dr. Burger's @ebb663 presence added magic to the competition. The energy was off the charts, and seeing students enjoy every moment was priceless. Huge thanks for the support and enthusiasm! 🙌 #MathCarousel2024
@DLMcGill My 2024 resolution was to launch a bold, new strategic plan. On Wednesday I hope to do just that. Then comes the resolution of work-planning... I’m hoping for December on that one. 🙃
@WilliamsCollege@EphAlum From the faculty side, I loved teaching the Comedy Writing Workshop; but I think students were shocked to discover it wasn’t all laughs—tons of writing, editing, refining, and practice. Their final shows were always funny & @EugeneMirman audited the class one winter. #WSmemories
