Eric Adams, former NYC major, has just removed liquidity of his new memecoin, $NYC, scamming investors for over $2,536,301
He launched a $NYC memecoin just 30 minutes ago, and has removed its liquidity after promoting it on his personal social media, claiming to be the NYC token
Why would they build this if everyone and every business is leaving for Florida? Twitter would have you believe no businesses are in nyc and no people live in nyc anymore.
- rush to TikTok or YouTube?
- “proof of authenticity” will be a thing
- millions of bots to fake user count to keep the slop cycle going
Maybe pessimistic but not that far fetched

Just playing this out but seems realistic:
- Sora and Veo don’t have consumer lock in or distribution like most social apps do because of the original premise of UGC from *real people*
- supply and demand jump, but then pivots to power users as the novelty wears off

- all of a sudden we get this Twitter-like version of tiktok where all we see is engagement bait from mega accounts and ads
- users jump ship because the stickiness isn’t there
- novelty wears off, users want that sweet sweet real feeling again

these people told you they were going to revolutionize art and science, cure cancer, fundamentally change human existence, and what they have delivered is More Ads
This might not seem like much but it's hard to overstate how sophisticated your country's logistics and infrastructure needs to be for this to even be possible.
It's actually insane when you think about it: when you take the fast-speed train in China, you can order takeaway from restaurants in the city of the train's next stop and it'll be brought to you to your seat.
So much can go wrong with this that you need every single piece - from the rail network to the corner noodle shop to the 5G tower to the delivery scooter - operating with the precision of an orchestra where no one can miss a single beat.
Really illustrative of the insane level of systemic sophistication that China has achieved. For one thing, most countries can't even manage to have trains run on time.
