Hiring a Brand Designer (contract) at Skydo.
Looking for someone who’s built brands for tech products and can create sharp, scalable brand systems.
Not looking for agencies. If that’s you (or someone you’d recommend), DM your portfolio or send a referral.
That’s why I like that @rsms , @karrisaarinen are speaking out. Real design is still hard. Just the barrier to visual quality has reduced to some extent. Like how templates and design systems did.
Details I loved from @stripe’s new website
1.The tactile sun-like stimulator with its beautiful gradients
2.Gradient borders that subtly reveal themselves on hover across containers and components
3.The hover-responsive halo effect - a hidden moment of delight
4.The “Book of the Week” recommendation, which shows how Stripe goes beyond conventional product thinking and presentation
Website is a masterclass in micro-interactions, craft in enterprise design, and tasteful execution. Love it
I get absolutely no replies on any of my post, but hey I’ll try my luck
What do y’all work with to create / practice micro interactions or motion for UI? What would you suggest a beginner to start with?
