@izakaminska Not convinced by this one. Amazon's financial model is very focussed on future free cash flows. Securing lines of credit to help navigate road bumps (either globally or locally) and allow freedom of action has been essential to their past success.

@Cookie2148 I like them, but would use simpler language (cf. Amazon's Leadership Principles). On a specific note, ICSC seems to be specifically designed to stamp out cognitive diversity. We embrace intellectual regression to the mean in too many parts to the Army.

@Cookie2148 Any suggestion about contracts for 1*&2*s becoming longer than 2 years (as per civvy execs)? Great to have Maj Gens own professional streams, but less opportunity if they only have 2 years in post. You and @RNugee are good examples of what can be achieved with a longer soak time.

@afneil It’s not about about loyalty to Trump, it’s about perceived loyalty to the GOP. You can campaign vigorously against Trump (e.g. in the Primaries), but collaborating with the ‘enemy’ (read Democrats) to undermine a Republican premier is viewed as unforgivable by many.

@afneil Just spent 10 days in WY. Cheney didn’t lose because she doesn’t support Trump. She lost as she was perceived as actively trying to take down a sitting Republican leader. Rank and file conservatives (almost all 600k in WY from my small sample) have strong feelings about loyalty.

One of my big takeaways from our work together is the passion and ingenuity possessed by the (largely) unsung heroes in Logistics across the NHS (and the wider public sector). 💪💪
