Dr. Erlin Gooch, an 87-year-old civil rights activist, was beaten, stomped, and robbed in her own home in Ripley, Tennessee. Her attackers used her bank card and walked away. Three weeks later, no arrests. No one should be attacked like this in their own home! She deserves justice. https://t.co/duSwlfe2Xo
The federal government currently owes Social Security roughly $2.6 TRILLION. For decades, Social Security surpluses were invested in Treasury securities, allowing Treasury to use that cash for other federal financing while promising repayment with interest. Social Security didn’t create the national debt. It has been one of the federal government’s creditors.
They are stealing our money and then blaming the American people.

BREAKING: After the Miami Herald announced they were endorsing David Jolly for Governor in Florida, he has skyrocketed in the polls and is now leading Byron Donalds by 2 points. This is huge.
BREAKING: CRITICAL HIT! Democratic Senate candidate Angie Nixon publicly DEMOLISHES JD Vance after he said she “doesn’t belong in America” and should “get the hell out!”
What a slam-dunk…
Vice President JD Vance was deployed to Florida today in a desperate effort to rally Republicans for the midterms, where he gave an awful speech.
Speaking with his characteristic complete lack of charisma and reeking of desperation, Vance yelled that “when Angie Nixon calls herself a socialist, I think the right response is to say, then get the hell out of here, you don't belong in America.”
Nixon wasted no time in taking to Twitter to fire back at Vance in a scathing takedown of the weak, sad little man.
“I don't wanna COUCH my words here: I know JD Vance, his eyeliner, and absent Ashley Moody are used to running away from people when things get tough because they care more about themselves and their billionaire buddies than the people they represent. But this is my home,” wrote Nixon.
“The most ordinary man imaginable came to my home state to tell me to ‘get out of America’ while they enjoyed the comfort of buildings my ancestors built. Imagine standing on the shoulders of the ppl who built this country & then telling their descendants they don’t belong here!”
“Wanting lower property insurance & healthcare for families isn't un-American; it’s what working people deserve. They can take their tech-bro cash and their weird, intrusive agenda somewhere else, because I'm not going any damn place.”
“I don’t go high when they go low. I get LOUD. Because the soul and humanity of this country are at stake.”
What a beautiful response to a heinously ugly man, both inside and out.
Nobody has any right to tell any American to “get out” of the country just for having different ideas – it goes against the founding principles of this nation and the Constitution that Vance supposedly is upholding.
We’ll show him when Angie Nixon wins this November!
The Trump admin is planning to throw hundreds of thousands of people off ACA health coverage.
The people removed will be forced to choose between expensive health insurance or going uninsured.
Living under the Trump admin continues to squeeze working people.
Tapper: Mr. Hilton, just to clarify, would you direct California law enforcement to assist the Trump administration's mass deportations beyond dangerous criminals? Yes or no?
Hilton: It's about enforcing the law. I mean, the federal law is immigration law is obviously a federal matter.
Becerra: California welcomed you and you welcome ICE mercenaries into our state in return. You seem to welcome immigrants who look like you, but deport immigrants who look like me
What a poignant end to Charles Spencer’s interview with Tina Brown. 🥺
Tina Brown: “One last question, what do you think Diana would have been if she hadn’t married the heir to the throne?”
Charles Spencer: “Happy.”
Well. That rather covers it. 💔

BREAKING: In a stunning move, the Miami Herald just announced they were endorsing David Jolly over Byron Donalds in Florida’s Gubernatorial election. This is huge.
I don’t know who needs to hear this, but Prince Harry does not need William’s permission to honour his beautiful mother. 💕
Contrary to his control-freak ways, William is not the gatekeeper of their mother’s memory.
Every single year, Kate has simply sent a letter to her addiction patronage during addiction awareness week.
This year, she finally shows up.
For an hour. Via a helicopter.
The tax paying British public who support the royal family should be thanking Prince Harry and Meghan for moving back.
Because nothing makes William and Kate work more than the thought of Harry and Meghan doing anything.
So they were using Nolan’s phone after he was dead yet there there “wasn’t enough evidence to make a single arrest”? They can’t get away with covering this up!
