@RonPaul I’m a big fan of yours Mr. Paul, but I disagree with you on this. Visas are a privilege. Spreading hate and sowing the seeds of agitation is not protected under the 1st amendment.
President Trump announced earlier in his second term that foreign students who engaged in illegal activity would be deported. Most people agreed with the policy.
But then his Department of Homeland Security began showing up with masks on and in plainclothes to arrest and deport legal foreign students who broke no law but held views the Administration doesn't like.
This is a slippery slope that will backfire on those who support it.
Watch @RonPaul & @DanielLMcAdams below:
Ross Ulbricht's (@RealRossU) sentence is the greatest violation of the Eighth Amendment that I'm aware of in the United States today. The Eighth Amendment prohibits the federal government from exacting cruel and unusual punishment.
@RepThomasMassie how about repealing the tenets in FLSA regarding production of women's garments? The history of it is literally sexist and fascist. https://t.co/qt1cbEsIDW
This is an unfortunate take.
The Libertarian Party is the home for people who crave freedom *outside* of the left/right paradigm. We need to ‘signal’ (and *act*) neither left nor right, but FOR individual freedom and AGAINST authoritarianism.
@TowerGangToad The "anti-trump" wing seems similar the "non-Mises" wing. Not that selling out won't ever be the play, it's that y'all sold out for too little. Trump may well have won without you and no longer desires or cares about your support.
Many libertarians are understandably concerned about this.
But if those twins still retained their support for individualism and property rights, this could be a game-changer.
Imagine a movement of libertarians who are comfortable with making eye contact.
We'd be unstoppable.
When you were Attorney General, you argued that you should be able to hold inmates past when they were supposed to be released, so you could continue using them for free labor.
Before that, as District Attorney of San Francisco, you knowingly used faulty evidence from a tainted drug lab to fraudulently convict over 1000 defendants.
So I know your type.
