My biggest hero and 15 y/o son Albin has passed away after fighting bone cancer for 3 years.
I would accept living anywhere under any conditions for the rest of my life if I could be there with you, but I recon god thought heaven needed reinforcement.
During the 100s and further 100s of nights we spent together at hospitals the last years we have played PC games, watched TV series, documentaries and what not — but more than anything else we watched football since Albin was a livid MUFC fan.
Albin was a teenager but not really, he always wanted to please. When he got bad news, he turned to everyone around him and said ‘but it’s okey’. But when watching Football he could be himself — furious, upset, nervous, bitter, content, happy, euphoric. And MUFC was always there, regardless of time of day we could find content to watch. Thanks all content creators of the #MUFC_FAMILY.
Albin had to give up playing football back in 2020. Besides being a footballer, what intrigued him the most was probably YT and social media. He wanted to try to work but didn’t want to create content. I had started to post at the RedCafe and had quite a lot to say about the takeover, so we agreed that I would create content and he would be the producer, hence SwedishRumble was born. Albin always kept track of the statistics, and learned and implemented strategies for building up a following. After the summer we dipped our toes into the YT space, got the software needed, and spent countless hours on it together. Albin was always in so much pain. But I don’t remember him being in pain during these times. Instead, I remember him starting to drink coffee so that he could stay awake despite the pain killers.
A big big thanks to everyone! And thank you Albin, for the 15 years we got together.
