@Spurs_Optimist @GaryB2014 Would be a way to allow aspirational teams invest, limit the risk of debt crippling teams that underperform and lose commercial appeal or have shocks (ignore insurance). I think there would be a lot less noise about all of this then.

@Spurs_Optimist @GaryB2014 Im not saying unfettered spending is the answer either, but when debt is above a certain value- say 0.5c turnover, the SCR/PSR rules should limit spending on wages or players etc until its back in line. That in conjunction with an ability for owners to put up to 500m in escrow..
