Believe Gary Caldwell returned to Devon yesterday for the funeral of Exeter City Community Trust worker Peter Eveleigh. He also attended the funeral of Dr Zaman last weekend, on the morning of the Bradford game. Little things but add up to so much. #wafc
@OfficialECFC One of the greatest managers we’ve ever had, will be massively missed and time will quickly tell how unappreciated he was. Best of luck to him 👏
@ECFCST@OfficialECFC Should be £10 in my opinion. £2 minimum was always too low and the £100-200k membership fees it brings in annually is pennies compared to what we realistically need to compete if we stick with this ownership model.
@SpencerOwen@hashtagutd@TheMotormen@joeyg1984@devs76 I do agree Exeter have poorly managed this. You should personally support a colleague, but using the official account looks v unprofessional. Hashtag would not want us doing the same. There is also two sides to a story, but Exeter have respected employees private matters.
@olpafc_ You’re right, how dare thousands of them not undertake a 10-hour round trip on a Sunday in poor conditions. Even worse, maybe they wanted to save money at a financially difficult time and another long trip the next week?
@hashtagutd@TheMotormen@joeyg1984@SpencerOwen@devs76 Given this ‘historical’ news, can’t help wonder why at same time this official account is getting involved and helping publicise a dispute between your CEO and his former club? Bad optics to be using your platform on matters unrelated to Hashtag United. Poor from you Spencer.
Clearly a very poorly managed situation by the Trust, but still reads as the clubs highest ever budgets (incl. £50k trips!), came from our former CEO in charge. Given all the silence, the timing of this statement now after all the media of yesterday’s game speaks volumes #ecfc
Watching Exeter City with my family created memories I’ll always cherish, sadly we’re no longer able to share those moments. Finally, I feel ready to share my side about what has happened before and after my time as CEO - hopefully this enables both to move on positively… 🧵
Fantastic jobs Gary Caldwell and Marcus Flitcroft are doing at Exeter 👏🏻
Extremely difficult to survive comfortably year-on-year in this era of League One as a fan-owned club.
I did feel like this season might be a tough one, yet they've won 3 of their first 6 with great attacking performances against Blackpool, and Peterborough yesterday.
Felt even last week, in the second half at Northampton, that Brierley and Doyle-Hayes were a midfield pairing to build on - they complement one another nicely.

@mattydiggins11 @YDKWYDPodcast Tedious stuck record anti-Caldwell agenda questions when so far we’ve won 4-1 playing some nice football at home and just bagged a hard fought away win in a tight game. And the two close losses against tough competition. I’ve had tougher times watching as an Exeter fan!
