CT scoring on steroids, but debasement first I want to tell you about something we've been working on for a while. If you use Moni Score, read this. It matters. We @getmoni_io started curating smart accounts over 5 years ago. By hand. Not scraping, not auto labeling. Our team and AI went through millions of accounts and even more social events, to figure out who actually matters in crypto. That dataset is the backbone of everything we do. And from the start, we built the scoring differently than everyone else. Every other system treats smarts and mentions as equal. 1 smart = 1 smart. 1 mention = 1 mention. We never did that. In Moni Score, a smart account from an @a16z or @paradigm carries a completely different weight than a random smart alpha hunter or KOL. That's not a feature we added later. That's how we built it from day one. Nobody else does this. Still. Quality > quantity. That foundation got us here. Thousands of traders, influencers and degens use Moni Score daily. Dozens of B2B partners integrated it. It works. But we’ve been wanting to push it further for a long time. And now we are. Moni Score is getting a serious upgrade. One thing upfront: when this rolls out, you'll see scores drop across the board. Almost every account will be affected. Some more, some less. Don't panic. This is intentional. We're recalibrating the entire scale. The old scoring range was inflated — too many accounts clustered at the top, making it harder to tell the great from the good. The new model compresses things down and spreads them out where it matters. Think of it as a debasement, the absolute numbers go down, but the relative rankings get way more accurate. Our score levels and tiers are being updated too, so the thresholds will match the new reality. A "strong" score in the new system won't be the same number as before, but it'll mean more. Here's what's new: - Smarts and smart mentions now have completely different weight on the score. Before, they were blended. Now they pull the score independently. - Sentiment on mentions. We don't just count mentions anymore. We read them. Positive, negative, neutral. If a hundred people are mentioning a project to warn others about a rug, that's not bullish attention. The old score would tick up. The new one won't. - The score is alive now. This is the one I'm most excited about. Moni Score used to mostly go up. Now it goes both ways. If a project loses smart money attention, treats its community like garbage, gets caught doing shady things, or just fades out, the score drops. Live. This changes what the number means. It's not only "how much attention did this thing ever get." But also "what's happening with this project right now, today." - Velocity. How fast the score moves, and where it's going, is now a signal on its own. A project sitting at 7,000 that was 9,000 last week? That tells you something. Same project at 7,000 for a month straight? Different story. You can read momentum now, not just a snapshot. - Less noise. A 24-hour pump or a viral moment won't inflate the score that much anymore. If the attention doesn't stick, the score doesn't stick. Here's what this looks like with real numbers: • Project at 8,500. Lots of smarts, lots of mentions. Looks great on paper. But sentiment analysis shows most of those mentions are warnings and callouts. People aren't hyping it, they're flagging it. Updated score: 6,200. • Project at 4,000. Not many mentions. But the ones it has? All from top-tier accounts. All positive. This was a quiet gem hiding in plain sight. Updated score: 6,800. What's not changing: The dataset. The 15,000+ curated smart accounts, 20 000 000+ social events, 5+ years of work. All of that stays. We're building on top of it. Rolling out this across extension, platform, and bot.
