Substance abuse dulls awareness, fragments communities, and saps energy for action, while sobriety empowers clear-headed analysis, unity, and sustained activism.
Sifuna the sixth raised the concern of JD and qualification match in that disaster management sector a few months ago. He'd discovered top officials who had degrees in theology working in disaster management. This city needs batman or sth.
Agikuyu men make very good friends
Mwanaume msapere once mmekuwa mabeshte ni hivo
He'll always try to plug you to every available opportunities.
I might be speaking from a point of privilege but my Agikuyu brothers are the best thing to ever happen in my life.
I don’t know if those who are categorical that there can be no miracles in elections are following the happenings in Serbia and Brazil. Im super encouraged for 2027 because we in Kenya pray to the same God. Inshallah we get ours too.
SIFUNA was ejected from the powerful Senate County Public Accounts Committee (CPAC) because he worked absolutely well minus corruption. His oversight work is a matter of public record but because you are arrogant and disconnected you imagine Kenyans do not know who SIFUNA is. ⚖️
Mahali imefika sasa tunataka Ruto hata asisimame kuomba Kura...
Coz tell me why a person who killllled your brother beggjng you to vote for another term??
His tenure is over, we need new and Brilliant minds...
Kenyans deserve to see how their votes become election results and not simply be told whom to trust. On 22 October 2026, the National Assembly passed the Elections (Amendment) (No. 2) Bill, 2024. Parliament must now publish the approved text and account for its implications for electoral transparency.
In the published Bill, Clause 22 replaces section 39 without expressly requiring livestreaming of results announced at polling stations, while retaining electronic transmission and online publication of results forms. That is not a ban on livestreaming. But sending results to election officials and allowing citizens to watch their announcement serve different purposes. Parliament must clarify whether this omission survived the amendments MPs approved.
The court history cannot be ignored. On 6 April 2018, in Katiba Institute v Attorney General, the High Court invalidated section 39(1G), which required livestreaming but confined streamed results to public information and excluded them as a basis for declaration. The Court rejected that restriction for undermining electoral transparency and accountability. It did not prohibit livestreaming. The Court of Appeal upheld the invalidation on 6 October 2023 in National Assembly v Katiba Institute. The legislative task is therefore to enact a constitutionally sound obligation and not present an already-invalidated provision as an effective safeguard.
Article 86 requires a transparent, verifiable and accountable electoral system, prompt polling-station announcements, and open, accurate collation. Ahead of 2027, Parliament should expressly secure public access to live results announcements, and the IEBC must explain how citizens will follow and scrutinise the process. Electoral reform should make every vote easier to verify, not leave transparency dependent on institutional discretion. The ballot is secret but the count must be open.
You see how MPs have approved the bill to stop the IEBC from conducting a transparent elections? That's the same way they will scrap the term limit for William Ruto.
The biggest problem we have in this country is those stupid Mpigs
Tunaenda protests wapi? Juu nakuja.
Because I know with that livestreaming thing, someone I know will die for sure.
So I might as well take the risk of me dying right now to prevent it.
I'm tired of this man killing people whenever he wants something.
You guys know Ruto the way you know him.
Me? I know him as the politician who had 12 year old me sleeping in a bush, because at any moment, the house could be burned by people who assumed we were inside.
We all knew not to go into any building because we could get burned inside
If we let this slide...we are finished!!!! Everytime a controversial bill is passed or something horribly wrong in gvt comes to light Kasongo goes out of the country. He's done that multiple times now. Bet he comes back to sign into law early in the morning at Statehouse.
Table this shit in parliament stop crying here like a whistleblower who is powerless. You are a member of parliament, act accordingly. Otherwise this is just for political mileage.
Msisahau Mwakideu,Jalas,YY,Obinna wote ni agemates wa Sifuna they can’t fathom how a young man like them has such a Nyota while them is bootlicking the presidency and making noise as two bit bus bench media personalities and comedians. Ni wivu inasumbua hao!
