@J1mmyRS There's a guy making Breath of the Wild in Minecraft, but his work is inherently more varied and less grindy than, say, a one-chuck UIM. I think Runescape is just built such that if you put ANY restrictions in place, you're going to lengthen and narrow down the grind.
@J1mmyRS Speedrunners put in more time, but they don't build narratives. Speedrun documentarians build the narrative, but then they're not the runners dedicating all the time. OSRS content creation is built around doing both.
@MarvelSnapZone It's "fairly priced" because of the credits. Remind me who set the price for the credits? Does anyone actually even buy credits with money? It's not a good deal. "Credits are worth $40." To SD, sure. They set that value. To me they're worth $0. I wouldn't buy them ever.
@shenanigansen I know people are really harping on the cat because it's a shocking anecdote, but it goes well beyond that. He pedaled great replacement nonsense and framed it as aliens taking over. He was an ethno-nationalist who supported oligarchy. In the early 1900s. It's that simple.
@StefanEJones @ZachWeiner This is really interesting to me because it was a hobby that carried into adulthood to the point that people nowadays associate it with older people. Reminds me a bit of this: https://t.co/cvFJFrnc2W
"Your driver got arrested ... So, I figured I'd complete the DoorDash (delivery) for you," South Dakota police officer Sam Buhr said to one member of the community. https://t.co/t63omD5QQ3
