And we won't need any infrastructure for them.
That's how they're so cheap!

Plus we think it can be down without any development money.

You still don't get my point, we're not at the point where ships this complicated can run without maintenance for a deployment without support.
And there is little money for development

With so many unanswered question, such as who refuels, rearmed, repairs them while on deployment.
Its very similar to a Squadron of Tornados being replaced by Taranis

@FennellJW @Reyt__106987 I see you defend this, but you dont answer the underlying issue. We constantly got rid of today's capability for tomorrow's dream and this is no different.
These will happen with other nations but they will still build the destroyers and frigates.
