This has to be the first time in #MLB history that two players wearing #72 have pitched consecutively: #Cubs Javier Assad followed by #Giants Trevor McDonald.
Fun from @WeatherApplied:
Remember how Ian Happ lost a home run on Opening Day when the Wrigley wind blew the ball in 113 feet?
Well, tonight the wind gave him a home run back by blowing the ball out 35 feet.

Listened to today’s @PardonMyTake hoping you guys would take this suggestion. Whether you got it from me or came up with it yourselves, I’m glad you agreed to it! Will be fun to have you both rooting for the same team too. Best way to handle it. Good luck! @PFTCommenter@hen_ease
Very disappointing that @hen_ease would let @PFTCommenter off the hook with a double-or-nothing bet on Patriots to win the Super Bowl. At least make PFT put $40K on the Pats ML and share the proceeds $78K/$40K if they win. @PardonMyTake
@PFTCommenter a day late but I’d appreciate you issuing a correction that August 1942 (when Stan Hack had 5 hits and 4 walks) was *not* “pre-Pearl Harbor.” (12/7/41 … a date that lives in infamy).
@BarstoolChief People forget how many games Fields won for us with his legs. A lot of games we shouldn’t have. He’s not the “best” QB of the bunch, but he’s the only one that could single-handedly win us a game.
