Email design mockup for @bengoo_official
Had to play around with some layer blur effect to give it a more aesthetic look...
...while still making sure the design is on-brand.
✅ Good contrast for clarity.
✅ Mobile-friendly CTA.
✅ Great display of Product image to make it more appealing to the reader.
✅ Listed features for easy reading.
✅ Suggested product with individual CTA so they don't have to go looking for the product in the website.
✅ Product category in option for people not interested in the suggested product.
Email design is mostly THINKING.
Yes.
You still have to design it.
But...
What you're designing is a factor of a visual thought.
However...
You can still do the THINKING while designing the email.
So when next you see a great email design...
Just know a lot of THINKING was put into it.
Happy Wednesday! ✌️
Stop being too fancy with your CTA buttons.
Just saw an email that was beautifully designed, but I couldn't find the CTA.
At first, I thought there was no CTA.
Had to check repeatedly before I noticed the CTA.
I know we want our emails to look stunning, but it shouldn't be at the expense of the conversion. 😪
Always keep your CTA buttons as SIMPLE and CLEAR as possible.
I was sent out of Canada
Yes that’s why I came back home a few months ago
Yep, you read that right.
So I came into Canada with a spousal open work permit. And when it was about to expire, we applied for an extension.
And we were just about our business waiting for the extension to come out only for us to get a rejection mail. This came at a crucial time as there was a change of government and rapid immigration policy changes.
Omo, everywhere first blur. Premium tears everywhere
We did not see it coming at all. And I had a few days to leave the country ASAP.
My husband wanted to start running around seeing how to appeal the rejection without me leaving but I just told him “babe let’s leave it. I’ll go.”
I was not sure what God was doing but I trusted Him. And so I came back to Nigeria.
I went about my Fathers business like nothing dey sup. Trusting the one who has called me.
Then the dots began to connect.
Then came Covabodi festival. You know how that went to the glory of God
Then came brand ambassadorial roles.
If I tell you the other things God helped me achieve in this trip ehn, you’ll open your mouth in wonder.
Like, I began to understand that Canada did not send me away. God brought me back to carry out specific assignments.
One morning we woke up and I got a email.
“Congratulations Deborah, you’re now a permanent resident of Canada”
Yup. You’re looking at the latest Canadian permanent resident.
When I flew into Canada last week, I bounced in there like a madam.
I’m sharing this testimony to let you know that you need to trust God completely with your life.
You see that scripture that says all things work together for good? I need you to believe it with everything inside of you
Your wedding plans scattered? It’s working for your good
They served you breakfast? It’s working for your good
You did not get that opportunity? It’s working for your good.
Be pro-active, play your part, send in the application, do all that you should do and leave the rest to God
You may not see what God is doing in the moment, but as long as you’re faithfully serving and following God, just trust Him.
The dots will connect
And you will look and say “oh, Father so this is what you had in mind.”
Celebrate with me jare. God don run am🥳🥳
PS: Peep my resident card🥰
Blessings!
If you’re an email designer and you need a client, do this:
Post 1 design p/day for 40days.
(Even if you miss some days, keep going!)
Best case: you land a client before the end of the 40 days.
Worst case: You become better at designing.
It’s still a WIN-WIN for you.
