@LeShuttle please improve the organisation at the Calais side of your organisation. It’s appalling today and that’s not just the 3 hours (and counting) delay. French and UK customs are fine. We queued for 2 hours waiting to get on a train, our lane didn’t move
It would be great to hear from someone senior at Eurotunnel that understands this kind of service isn’t acceptable. We had a 2 hour delay on the way out. So, so far that’s 5 hours combined delay. More than our driving time in France.
This is frustratingly disorganised. The excuse I heard from the staff was “they were busy because of the Le Mans race”. The Le Mans race happens EVER YEAR IT IS AN ANNUAL EVENT. Why can’t you plan for this? Surely if you look at the amount of bookings you have
I told him we’d been there longest, then he said we’d go next. Hey presto, our lane moved, and we drove down to the train. But half our queue didn’t get on the train as it was full, so we were directed BACK UP TO THE CAR PARK
So I asked one of your members of staff why our lane wasn’t moving. He said they let the cars through in order they park up- I explained that wasn’t happening, we’d been stuck there whilst others had moved 3 times. Then he said they just let through which lane seems busy
@chilternrailway Thank you. Could you please ask the control team to tell the driver to turn the air conditioning on? If it’s broken then can this be fixed overnight? It would be good to hear what the actual problem is
@chilternrailway can you please increase the frequency and number of carriages on peak time service? Most peak services are now standing room only, demand is back to pre-Covid days but it seems the service provided is at most 3/4 of the previous volume
@chilternrailway the electrical charging sockets aren’t working on the Silver train departing Leamington 7:20 to MYB again this morning. It seems the sockets haven’t been working in half the carriages for months. Can you please fix this?
@chilternrailway I will do, but you could just pass onto the fleet team that literally half the carriages haven’t had working power sockets for month. I’ve given up telling the conductors, they always say they will try and reset it but it never makes a difference
