Just £500 left to go, to meet our goal—helping #IfésinàchiNwàdiké take up his PhD studies in the UK. Ifésinàchi is on his way here next week, but your support will help tide him over until his first Fellowship money arrives. Donors rewarded with poetry!

@Indavisible@_Tongogara_@HoughtonLib Will T E-M share the text of his incredible introduction? A work of magic indeed . . . Great reading and discussion!
It is all so astonishingly pointless and debased and wasteful that it would probably be better not to spend too much time contemplating it; let us turn out attention to more pleasant things

Bit tired today. Maybe because I got home at 840am this morning after starting my Coventry-Glasgow train journey on @AvantiWestCoast *last night* at 1836. Scheduled arrival at 2317...but....a sorry tale of the exhaustion of British infrastructure developed >🧵
@_Sobieski@AvantiWestCoast This epic tale of railway woe is sadly familiar to many of us in the UK. (Thanks for writing it up, G.) Read it and weep. Write to the Rail Ombudsman and demand a better railway. Avanti West Coast needs to be put on notice.
@LeamPeregrines to confirm: on passing by again, saw two eyases (and heard three have been seen out). one female eyas was perched somewhat precariously on the square aerial on east side and flew confidently down to the lower balustrade. she seems ready to go!
@LeamPeregrines no sign of eyases nor parents this (Monday) morning, all four sides of Town Hall tower. nor anywhere on nearby buildings, far as I could see. flown?
@LeamPeregrines I did get a vantage from the steps in front of Wofon noodle house which allowed me to confirm that, at least on the east side of the tower, there were no eyases. Will go have another look shortly.
@nxwestmidlands 22:13 number 11 bus from University of Warwick to Leamington Spa on 18 January full of students not wearing masks. (I had to ask the students sitting next to me to put theirs on.) Totally unsafe! Where's the enforcement of the legal requirement?
Incredible turnout at the climate march in Glasgow today 👏👏👏

One of our adult Egyptian Vultures, Frank, has gone exploring in the area. Please keep your eyes peeled for him - if you do see him, he is friendly and tame, but please don't approach him. Instead, message us on our social channels. #warwickcastle#warwick
