At the start of the month I finished processing all my samples collecting sediment, macroinvertebrate, nekton and epiphyte data for my Honours! ๐ฆ๐ฆ๐ฌ๐ชฑ
Back from a recent trip from Kangaroo Island @lucindahats has been collecting water samples from across the island. The water samples will be assessed for #platypus eDNA to assist in detecting remnant platypus populations. ๐งฌ

This week the lab has started with a trip to the Windara #shellfish reef to collect water and oyster samples ๐ฆช
Windara was built in 2018 and is the first and largest shellfish reef in Australia. Research by @BecSuttonSmith will assist in understanding #restoration outcomes
