Another classic is: “so the target audience is: families with children aged 8+, families with children under 8, independent adults, international, beginners, specialists, first timers, repeat, schools ...” 🤪 🤦🏼♀️ ah the life of an Audience Researcher!

Had a fantastic day meeting with the @visitorstudies committee at the Science Museum today. Lots of exciting ideas for the year ahead for all things #audienceresearch and #visitorstudies 😃
Then finished the day at #LifeInTheDark at NHM which is genuinely SUPERB.
One thing I've learnt at #ecsite2018: Don't do evaluations of impact if you're not ready to act on them. Do define *beforehand* what you're willing to do (or not) according to the results of the evaluation, and decide if' it's worth doing the evaluation
#ECSITE2018#Room4 Just heard about a planetarium show with a mismatch between illustration style & language. Resulting in it being both too difficult and also perceived as being for younger kids. Worth trying #formative#evaluation? one example here:
