Morning David Lammy!
Could we please open and pay for these 63 closed courtrooms and hold rape trials in them? Instead of restricting jury trial for thousands of people?
If not, why not?

Here is a list of reasons why some of my hearings and trials this year have been delayed and kicked off into the long grass, stuck in our record court backlog. Serious allegations which will now be tried *years* after the event. 🧵👇
A fantastic evening at the @Amicus_ALJ Champions of Justice Awards celebrating our contributors and raising money for the continued fight for due process and equal access to justice on death row in the USA.
