Network School is back.
We’re up and running in the beautiful country of Kazakhstan, which combines high tech, low cost, brilliant people, a competent state, and plenty of space to build.
So: if you want to build a techno-optimist society with us, apply to Network School.
Adys Lastres Morera is the sister of the Executive President of GAESA, the Cuban military-controlled financial conglomerate that steals millions in aid for the Cuban people at the behest of the regime.
Morera was managing real estate assets and living in Florida, while also aiding Havana's communist regime, until I terminated her permanent resident status.
I am pleased to announce that today, she was arrested and is now in the custody of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
There will be nowhere on this Earth - much less in our country - where foreign nationals who threaten our national security can live lavishly.
“Cubans leave Cuba, they go to other countries, and they become successful. The only place in the world where Cubans can’t seem to prosper and succeed is Cuba.”
ALS has gradually taken away Kenneth’s ability to speak. Through Neuralink’s VOICE clinical trial, he’s exploring how a brain-computer interface designed to translate thought to speech could help restore autonomy in his daily life.

How about exchanging these idiots for an equal number of Cubans who want to live in the free world. The US socialists can find out what socialism really looks like in practice and the US gets hard-working people who will love America.
Madrugada en La Habana, hay frío y, milagrosamente, algo de electricidad. Es momento de adelantar todo lo que se pueda porque luego llega el apagón y la vida se paraliza. Los finales de un régimen son duros... pero también esperanzadores. #Cuba#SOSCuba
🚨Cuba can once again be the crown jewel of the Caribbean — not the third-world, communist hellscape it has become after 67 years of the longest, most brutal dictatorship in the history of our hemisphere.
I was born in #Cuba & want to see it freed!
I agree that the concept of fraud is basically non-existent in some cultures but not because the people don't know it exists, it is because the people know they have to prioritize their well-being first in order to survive, that's how the system trains them to behave.
So basically those people become experts at playing that game, they take and take because they know it is the only way for their tribe to survive and thrive in that system. tbh I don't blame them too much, I think it's natural for most humans to get away with what they can to help their tribe.
I come from Cuba, that's how the game is played - you either commit fraud to benefit your tribe (you're right, it is seen as a virtue) or play on the side of the broken system so it benefits your tribe (less virtuous). In that system, the people who do whatever honest work they can to survive and even aspire to thrive become the losers paying for the ongoing system.
I think the people in power (government), who are making the rules of the system, deserve more of the blame than the immigrants. I see the 'virus' growing fast in the US, I think it may be too late to stop it, but hopefully I'm wrong.
Balaji Srinivasan on the coming verification gap in an AI world.
“AI is going to create massive numbers of jobs in proctoring and verification because it’s so good at faking things.”
“AI makes everything fake, and crypto makes it real again.”
