Would you look at that. Smoke drifting up to Canada from the massive wildfires burning in Oregon and Washington.

The US National Weather Service Spokane shared this satellite image showing active U.S. wildfires.

Driven by mid-to-upper level winds, this massive smoke highway is tracking straight north, blanketing eastern Washington and northern Idaho before invading southern British Columbia.

It completely flips Trump’s bizarre rants about punishing Canada. Turns out the atmosphere flows both ways.

It’s VERY smoky in Osoyoos, BC right now, with smoke from the Kaiser Canyon fire blowing up from Washington State. If you won’t manage your forests to prevent these fires there’s no telling what we’ll do. *see how stupid that sounds?
