@uniquentcrazy @TroyMcgreeney @M1ke73305 @twill_94 Actually you do, and there is even a skill named after it, "Hazard step" (named after Eden Hazard). Not sure he used it to win pens but he used it many a time when dribbling to protect the ball. Search for the skill on YT.

@ChainLinkHawk @cravenknave @blixberrie The fundamental skillset of soccer is to be a master of the ball, i.e. manipulate it, control it etc. If you can't master these aspects to high degree, you will never play at an elite level, even if you have the athletic traits you mentioned.
