Real resilience isn't just bouncing back. It's what you carry into the next conversation after the one that fell apart, and whether you show up with more clarity or less courage than you had before.
Sunday morning I’ve got a couple sale conversations lined up, then the rest of the day is mine. They’re already prepaid so it’s not a chase.
I run the day in my head the night before. How I’ll show up, how it goes well. I prep first, then walk in ready.
@ryancohen I was also suspended because of activity that @eBay believe was putting their community at risk. ?? it was my first time ever putting up my phone for sale, I've only bought from ebay never sold. I guess their bots are having emotional issues 😂
@mablesjoseph@dhh I like his attitude, remembering the good times and moving forward to make better ones. It’s kind of true in everything we do in life don’t you think?
I don’t think I’ve introduce myself. I’ll start with my career path.
I’m a people-driven sales guy, not someone who leans on people to close.
Left the Marines and learned that the hard way selling perfume on the streets of New Jersey.
Years later the gym made me a trainer and I realized I’d been selling the whole time.
That’s where I learned there are two paths. One is money-driven. One is people-driven.
I was on the wrong one until I lined up with who I actually am.
I don’t push. I care about the person in front of me.
Drained the last couple weeks and praying through it. Sales weren’t landing and I hadn’t enrolled anybody, then replaying the misses just made it worse.
So I got back in the pipeline, followed up, confirmed bookings and booked three today.
You don’t think your way out of a slump, you move. Motion creates emotion and God meets you there.
Discipline doesn’t wait for motivation.
It shows up in the dark, laces the boots, and moves anyway.
The Corps was never built on comfort. It was built on the ones who refused to fold when the weight got heavy.
Carry that standard today.
Semper Fi.
Motion equals emotion has been the theme these last couple weeks.
Even when I was in a funk and moving was the last thing I wanted to do, I made myself take action anyway. Fake it till you make it so I didn’t freeze up and overthink myself into standing still.
Kept going. Feeling better this week because of it.
If you’re in a funk right now don’t give up and don’t let analysis paralyze you. Do something. Move. Action creates traction.
AI role play just predicted my whole meeting.
Told my AI who the prospect was. We rehearsed it and what happened? I got the same objections. Same questions. Word for word.
Enrolled them.
Practice doesn't just prepare you. It shows you what's coming.
Pulled out my copy of Breakthrough Advertising by Eugene Schwartz and my favorite sentence that captured my attention -
"Copy cannot create desire for a product."
I wouldn't buy it from Amazon but directly from the publisher at https://t.co/RQgwSwXkin you'll save $300 bucks!
