It appears BTC became increasingly correlated to SPX after the 2017-2018 bull cycle. M2 supply injected during COVID gave both an extra boost in 2021 and late 2023.
Buyer 2 didn't even look at the mattress and took it before I can finish explaining the stain on it. He quickly said, "I do carpet cleaning, and this lady's kids are sleeping on the floor. This is for her." I was speechless again. 🥹
I asked buyer 1 if he's buying it for his kids. He replied with a frown, "No, no, no. My wife and I had an argument and she kicked me out of the bedroom. This is for me!". I was speechless.🤣
I had two small mattresses my kids outgrew. The simplest thing to do was to put them in a dumpster. But I sold them online and outcomes human stories I would never expect. 1/3
Is there a need for an un-censorable, democratically moderated medium for public expression? Like the sand on a beach. Anyone can write whatever they want. Anyone can read it, ignore it or erase it.
@paulg Coincidentally, the timeline lines up pretty well with gen z’s troubles. NYU’s Jonathan Haidt did some fascinating research on it. Here’s one of his lecture at Penn. https://t.co/ZAt8DwxRju
What happens when a public service is privatized and the service provider censors/bans certain individuals?
Is it still censorship?
Is it still discrimination?
Does it need to be fair and moral or can it provide services only to those meeting its terms of service?

That's actually disappointing news.
You might think "yay we're early", but 12% of US adults is actually remarkable market penetration for something so technical.
And, it likely means, many people were using products that were too complex for them at this stage.
@Definitive_Cult Would be pretty hard to rally price against a macro bear market in the short term. It’s what happens after a correction that counts.
But also the DXY is at multiple technical resistances, if the govt steps in with yield curve control then we could see markets rally.
