You have to be so careful that you are actually living your own dream and not that of others. Ask what excites you, what you truly like, what you want to build in the long term. Then focus on it.
I recommend using absence to gain your respect back.
I recommend giving a girl your number instead of asking for hers. If she likes you, she will text you.
I recommend building your body, especially your shoulders. You'd be surprised how much more attractive you look with a better frame.
I recommend putting people in their place at the very first sign of disrespect.
I recommend not chasing people. Pay attention to who chooses you.
I recommend leaving rooms where you constantly have to prove your worth.
I recommend being honest from the beginning. Pretending is exhausting.
I recommend saving money before people know you're making money.
I recommend letting people underestimate you.
I recommend taking pictures and videos of your parents more often.

They can reset everything.
Bank. Instagram. Apple ID. Crypto. PayPal. Password manager.
Your Gmail isn't email.
It's the master key to your entire life.

Mercy is when you can't even explain how you're surviving, but you are. You don't have it all figured out, but each day, God sends help right when you need it. Hallelujah.
one of the quotes i find most inspiring on a hard day:
"Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might, for in the realm of the dead, where you are going, there is neither working nor planning nor knowledge nor wisdom"
Ecclesiastes 9:10
Rich Ghanaian parents pay $18,000 a year at DPS International. $16,000 at Tema International School. Why?
Because their kids do the IB Diploma. SATs. Strong English. Strong essays. So they go straight to Harvard, MIT, Yale, Cornell on full scholarships.
Meanwhile, a brilliant kid in Kasoa, Tamale, or Ho is doing WASSCE thinking the best he can hope for is Legon or KNUST.
Same brain. Different information.
The rich kids aren’t smarter than you. They just had parents who knew the game.
Here’s the truth nobody tells you:
You don’t need DPS. You don’t need TIS. You don’t need rich parents.
I sold sachet water in Ghana. I went to Berea College on a full scholarship. Now I’m a software engineer in Dallas.
My friends from humble homes did it too. From WASSCE straight to top US universities. Full ride.
The system was hidden from us. Not from them.

Never get married because people are telling you that it is time to get married. Get married when you agree with the person you want to marry that it is time to marry each other. If you meet someone working on a timetable, run far away from them. You are only a means to an end.
CAREER TIP: When you know you've hacked pushing out quality work at scale, endeavour to reduce your speed, if not your work will be undervalued and underrated.
Pass it on.
