@TraderMikeyB So if the short is itm you close just the short leg for a loss, or do you mean you close the entire diagonal as the long should have gained value?
Congrats on the win! The move after the opening shows why winning trades should be closed.
@elonmusk@mattyglesias No acces. Makes it obvious there is censorship occurring. Not so much of a freedom of speech advocate when there can be a reduction in ka-ching, aren't you?
@ClickitH@ask_aubry Do you have any studies on that? I've heard claims in all directions, men, women, happier, less happy, but haven't seen any actual data. Breakdown by age is probably telling, too.
@melody_olivarez@CollinRugg They make laws, so they can have access to internal discussions wrt those laws which can impact the markets. Acting upon that info is possible. My point is if they have access or not, it doesn't matter if they are forced to give the test of the market a head start in any trade.
@melody_olivarez@CollinRugg I really don't see political colours behind this. After all, the stock market is said to be the way you ensure your pension exists, so anyone, including politicians should have access to it. It just needs to be handled in a way even if they have insider info, they can't leverage.
@CollinRugg I'd actually let them trade, but force them to disclose all trades 7 days in advance and the trades are done automatically via an escrow on the announced date. That way any edge they might want to take would be cancelled by the market and their appetite for fraud is killed.
@WaNkwatisa@ANTlWEF So one person claiming this without any proof. No actual recording of any such "wealthy businessmen" asking this, no documents, emails or something even slightly not hearsay...
@WallStreetSilv I like it how almost all responders have superficial answers and clearly haven't read the book or even know what is about... I guess better to outrage than to think.
