The truth is somehow bitter to chew, but its glaring. Ghana’s challenge isn’t lack of vision; it’s over-socialism and under-privatization; a structural imbalance where good intentions outpace fiscal realities.
The Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Association of Banks, John Awuah, has issued a strong call for fiscal prudence, urging the government to confront difficult economic choices.
Using the idiom "grab the bull by the horn," Mr. Awuah stated that the country is currently running programs it cannot afford, implying a need for a critical review of public expenditure to ensure long-term economic stability.
