Meet MAGAt Timothy Clinton Pruitt Sr., a former North Carolina Baptist pastor and registered Republican who has been sentenced to 15 to 23 years in state prison after pleading guilty to multiple felony child sex crimes.

The extensive criminal investigation culminated in Pruitt's arrest by the Wilkes County Sheriff's Office on June 18, 2026.

A month later, on July 22, 2026, Pruitt entered a guilty plea in Wilkes Superior Court to nine felony counts. His convictions included first-degree statutory sex offense, indecent liberties with a child, and sexual acts by a custodian or substitute parent.

Court and prosecution records detailed that the abuse occurred over a three-year period from January 1, 2020, through April 16, 2023. The specific allegations involved a juvenile victim between the ages of 8 and 11, whom Pruitt subjected to illegal exposure to pornography and multiple instances of inappropriate physical touching inside his residence.

According to court documents reported by WACB, Pruitt forced the child to look at pornography and used a vibrating device as well as his fingers to press against her underwear over her genital area. When investigators confronted the 47-year church minister about the explicit material, Pruitt dismissed the claims, stating, "it depends on what you call pornography."

Watching this brought back a memory for me. Years ago, I brought a friend to the ER with a very similar situation—terrible pain that came out of nowhere, and we honestly thought something was seriously wrong.

That’s why I can relate to this woman. She’s 46, says she’s been healthy, and suddenly wakes up with lower-right pain so severe she described it as worse than unmedicated childbirth.

At the ER they considered appendicitis, a kidney stone and ovarian torsion. The strange part is the pain mostly disappeared. Her labs and urine were clear, no fever, and the CT showed a healthy appendix and no obvious problems with her kidneys, liver or ovaries. They did find thickening of the uterine lining and a mass she needs to follow up on with her gynecologist, possibly a fibroid.

What I remember from taking my friend to the ER is that sometimes the scariest part isn’t just the pain—it’s going through all those tests and still leaving without a definite answer.

When pain hits that hard and that suddenly, I’d rather make the trip to the ER and find out it’s nothing life-threatening than take a chance.
