Nigeria is on an absolute intellectual winning streak on the global stage! 🇳🇬🔥
While we are rightfully celebrating our brilliant boys who secured Mathematics gold in Rome today, we must also amplify the story of another history-maker.
Meet Adeolu Damilola Oreofe. 🧵👇 (1/4)
This is THE MAN OF THE YEAR.
Alex Onyia is vindicated! He is my MVP.
When he defended some of the children in his CBT Testing centers, he knew exactly what he was doing. Those children are on FIRE! Alex could vouch for some of them — because he knew that JAMB & WAEC are a walk in the park.
Next time, when he calls out WAEC or JAMB, listen! Don’t reduce everything to tribe or Miracle centers. He has invested heavily in those children. I won’t forget when he ordered (1000 pieces of low cost — fairly used Lenovo Thinkpad PCs from Germany) in a hurry.
He even promised to order thousands more! He keeps fighting for education. He fought for the students of UNN to have better hostels.
He hosts Math Olympiad & trains teachers & pupils. He single-handedly put education back on the map. His advocacy has become an established powerhouse. Alex is global now!
The Presidency are confused. They don’t know how to congratulate the children for winning 12 Gold medals & 3 silver at the STEM Olympiad in Rome, Italy. Congratulating the children could easily be interpreted as promoting Peter Obi.
The world-class performance of the children is why the government must begin to invest in education & sponsor education tournaments.
Their victory is why tribalism & bigotry must die for Nigeria to rise. Aso Rock would have taken all the glory. All they needed to do was reach out & bankroll the children. Congratulating the Geniuses is easy for Peter Gregory Obi.
After all, education is his strongest suit. 👏👏
On the 7th of July, 2026, my dear brother @Peter4Nigeria and I attended my adopted father’s birthday. Yes, na me adopt am. 😄
Here is the backstory.
When I was abducted by the Nigerian Army and later handed over to the DSS after three unbearable days in military custody, my fourth day at the DSS.
The DSS had begun their investigation and asked me to write my statement, which I did according to the investigators’ instructions. After that, it was time for my audio-visual statement, where they needed to record both my voice and video.
For that process, I requested the presence of my lawyer.
At that moment, I couldn’t remember my lawyer, Barr. Femi Balogun’s phone number offhand, but I could remember my brother Randy Peter’s number. So I asked the DSS officers to call him.
Because they needed someone who could arrive within 30 minutes, I told them to go ahead and contact Peter.
The moment Peter heard my voice, I could hear the joy and relief in his voice. I immediately told him that I needed a lawyer to come with him.
He simply said, “Okay, I’m coming.”
In less than 30 minutes, he arrived—with Professor @SamAmadi .
I couldn’t believe my eyes.
Professor Sam Amadi was someone I had only seen on television and read about on X. The moment I saw him, my confidence returned. Deep down, I felt that I was going to regain my freedom.
Professor assured me that Nigerians were standing with me.
Meanwhile, my friend and lawyer, Barr. Femi Balogun @femibalogun11 , had been working tirelessly from the very first day of my abduction, writing to the relevant security agencies and doing everything legally possible to secure my release.
I’ll save the rest of the story for another day.
For now, I simply want to say:
Thank you, Professor Sam Amadi, for showing up for me when it mattered the most.
And happy birthday, sir.
As your adopted son, I will make you proud someday.
Justice can never be cracked.
I have absolute confidence in the integrity of our Chief of Staff. All campaign of calumny and insinuations should stop. The buck stops here.”
-Tinubu defends his Chief of Staff, Femi Gbajabiamila, over a corruption scandal and indictment in a fake agency scam.✍️

If petty trading makes millions, politicians would leave the Senate and go sell groundnuts and fried corn.
But….you will argue
This Tinubu Special Adviser says: “People are complaining about kidnappers kidnapping people and collecting huge ransoms. Who is making the money? Is it not Nigerians? Nigerians are paying ransoms to Nigerians. It is 50-50.”
Femi Falana stated that Ali Modu Sheriff, the former governor of Borno State, founded Boko Haram. He was arrested in Cameroon over his links to the group, but the Nigerian government stepped in and negotiated his release. Falana challenged Sheriff to sue him if the claims are untrue.
You guys know that this is the same guy from that cruise TV debate on YouTube that was defending BAT right? And Una no de give am better sliding tackle? Na fool na, e no sabi anything
@mrkingsley1987@Kene_Nnewi It is your fault, if you didn't tell your nephew about the job opportunity and he is an applicant, but in a situation where you told him and the person was late then, he should go and look for another job.
I watched with disappointment the recent interview granted by Senator Ali Modu Sheriff to Channels Television on Monday.
After a prolonged absence from public discourse, one would have expected that time away might have sharpened Senator Sheriff’s judgment. Regrettably, that does not appear to be the case.
In the interview, the former governor claimed that Peter Obi cannot command sizeable support in Northern Nigeria. It is curious that he has appointed himself spokesperson for the Northern masses. For the record, in his first outing on the presidential ballot, Mr. Obi secured approximately 2.8 million votes in the region — a remarkable achievement that cannot be dismissed lightly.
Given the current national hardships, the widespread consensus on the failure of the APC administration, and the addition of a strong Northern figure to the ticket who previously garnered 1.45 million votes in the region, the OK ticket remains a formidable force in Northern politics.
Even more surprising was Senator Sheriff’s assertion that the people of Kano would not vote for Mr. Obi. Let me state clearly: the good people of Kano are neither bigoted nor xenophobic. They have consistently demonstrated strong trust in the Kwankwasiyya movement and will support any credible ticket presented under its banner.
I respectfully advise Senator Sheriff that, in future national television appearances, he would do better to speak to the serious insecurity and humanitarian challenges facing his home state, rather than making divisive and poorly considered remarks.
The OK ticket currently represents the best opportunity for Nigerians to reset the country and place it on a path of competence, unity, and progress. - RMK
