Regarding today’s RIA Novosti article and all the discussion around it on X and in the media, I’d just say this:

Yes, it’s interesting, especially because it was deleted shortly after publication. Why? We don’t know.

But Russian state media has been threatening Europe, Britain and NATO with war and even nuclear strikes for years. This kind of rhetoric is nothing new. 🤷‍♂️

⚡️Russia announces a new “special military operation” through its controlled propagandists

The state-run RIA Novosti news agency published an article titled “Russia faces another special military operation. It will be very short.” The author is Alexander Nosovich, editor-in-chief of RuBaltic.

The article names Lithuania as the new target of Russian aggression.

The publication appeared after the Lithuanian parliament’s decision to lift the ban on deploying nuclear weapons.

Nosovich compared Lithuania to Ukraine and wrote that in the event of a conflict, Russia could do without ground troops and use missiles with nuclear warheads.

The material was published after reports from Danish and Czech intelligence agencies about a possible limited Russian attack on a NATO country.

Earlier, Western media reported that Russia could launch a limited attack on the Baltic states to test the alliance’s response. And if the response were not decisive enough, Russia would go further.

However, the West has repeatedly stressed that in the event of a direct conflict with Russia, the Kaliningrad region would be blockaded, and its military capabilities would become targets for strikes.

📒 Nexa September Highlights: Full-Node 2.2.0.0 Released

The biggest highlight in September was the release of the new Nexa Full-Node version, a stepping stone toward the upcoming hard fork and activation of the Tailstorm protocol.

Tailstorm will transform the Nexa blockchain into the first hybrid of a traditional UTXO proof-of-work model and a Directed Acyclic Graph (DAG). Traditional blocks, now called summary blocks, will be formed on average every 2 minutes, with around 40 subblocks between them, one mined on average every 3 seconds.

Significant developments are ongoing with Nexa's hardware acceleration, a first-of-its-kind card designed for signature verification. In the third article of the series, we explained the technical details behind the validation engine, and in the upcoming one we will review Blitz and what it is capable of today.

So the whole network climbs together. Every accepted solution has to beat the one before it. The next miner doesn’t start from zero, they start from the best result found anywhere on the network. Step by step, the whole colony converges on the single best answer.

That’s exactly how a real ant colony works. No single ant is in charge. Each one leaves a trail the next improves on, and together they crack problems no ant could alone. $QUBIC mining now runs on the same idea.

Underneath it all is an algorithm called BPP-9000. Each solution is basically a tiny neural network, scored on how few mistakes it makes, the fewer the better.

Each cycle the network keeps the best results, and the quality compounds across everyone.

Over the last 4 days NATO reconnaissance flights on its eastern border with Russia and Kaliningrad have picked up drastically, a particular focus appears in the area of Poland and Lithuania F24:
-It appears now routine flights of NATO and German AWACS E-3A Century aircraft looking at Kaliningrad from its southern flank I had noticed flights everyday doing similar patterns.
-British airforce have also started flying RC-135W Rivet Joint right across the whole Eastern border all the way up to Finland.
-I noticed also in particular heavy air activity around the Baltic Sea area undoubtedly tracking Russian shipping into Kaliningrad and potentially submarine movements.

BIG | 🇩🇪🇷🇺‼️‼️ The wave of increasingly serious warnings over the risk of a future military confrontation in Europe continues. Germany’s top military officer, General Carsten Breuer, is now urging the country to prepare not only its armed forces, but its industry and society for national defense.

Speaking at the IISS Prague Defence Summit, Breuer argued that the Bundeswehr alone cannot counter the changing security environment and hybrid threats. Germany would need cooperation across the military, industry and civil society in a conflict. “Without you, we soldiers are doomed to failure,” he told the audience, adding that failure was not an option because of the threat it would pose to society.

The warning fits Germany’s broader shift toward preparing for a potential confrontation with Russia rather than assuming the threat will remain confined to Ukraine. The Bundeswehr says Russia could have the military capability to launch a large-scale attack against NATO territory from 2029, while explicitly stressing that this does not mean such an attack is inevitable.
