My new book EMERGENCY from @UChicagoPress is now in the world. Many thanks to all involved who helped to bring it out. And much gratitude to future readers who will crack it open and find something inside.
With many thanks to @philtalkradio for putting together this episode w/me on the Indigenous, Colonial, and Contemporary contexts of the Popol Vuh and Mesoamerican philosophy. The conversation was excellent but the quality of the episode is truly superb. @UChicagoPress

American poetries are already shifting. What are now "internal" poetic affairs, will be exteriorized; what are now "external" matters, will be interiorized. The flow to and fro will be made sensible, even sensual. Many current luminaries will be read as the border guards of yore.
Sunday at the Clark in western Mass the American Modern Opera Company is performing some poems from Skins of Columbus to music, baroque and futuristic. I’m humbled and thrilled by this. I’ll be there. if you’re in the area come check it out! @FenceBooks@clarkart@jasonzuzga

Among many new things to note the most inspiring recently came from poet Gabrielle Rucker of DERELICTION @thesongcave who “reviewed” but actually saw the soul of my first now stray chapbook, Boundary Loot, published by Rich Owen’s’ Punch Press in 2012: https://t.co/NMqzLKb9G9 💝

I’ve been off Twitter a long time but it heartens me to come and see my WIP adaptation of the 16c Cantares Mexicanos heartily embraced. Thanks @StevenRoiphe. These Cantares were honored to have a feature in @TheAmScho in their Winter issue with a stellar intro by Langdon Hammer.
Honored to be the featured SRPR Illinois Poet in Issue 48.1 of Spoon River Poetry Review! Besides featuring poems from my upcoming book, Black Box Syndrome, there’s a conversation with my homie @edgaresque on the sources for my work. My gratitude to @stevehalle77 and @SRPR_News!
