木原稔官房長官は7月23日の記者会見で、高市早苗首相のＸへの投稿について、「個人のアカウントによる投稿だ。内閣官房が運用しているわけではないので行政文書ではない」とはっきりと述べています。

発信するときは「総理大臣」として国家・政府の重要情報を拡散し、責任や記録を問われると、「あれは政府のアカウントではない」

－この人は個人の私文書にて、
・総理として自衛隊に指示を出しました
等々、発信しているわけですが、官邸に公式アカウントが存在する以上、それより先に個人のアカウントで国家の重要情報を流してしまっていいのかどうか、きちんと検証すべきではないでしょうか。

米国はトランプ氏のXの発信が公務なら、大統領記録法によって在任中の記録を公文書記録管理局が保管します。

トランプ気取りでＸでの発信をされているのであれば、日本と米国の運用の違いをよくよく理解された方がよろしいかと思います。

People keep posting about Russia banning alternate parties to stay in power.

Fair enough. But let's add some context.

Russia is the largest country in the world. Surrounded by NATO members who openly discuss regime change. Filled with Western-funded NGOs whose entire purpose is overthrowing the government that brought Russia back from collapse in the 90s.

You expect them to allow foreign-backed opposition parties free reign while their neighbors plan their destruction?

Now let me tell you about Australia, where I currently live.

Two-party system. Labor and Liberal. Two sides of the same coin. They've created laws and red tape so thick that it's virtually impossible for a third party to gain seats in parliament. The system is designed to keep them in power. Everyone here knows it. Everyone feels it. But changing it? That's not happening.

Same in America. Democrats and Republicans. Billions in campaign funding. Media control. Ballot access laws written by the two parties themselves.

Same in the UK. Same in Canada. Same across the West.

Western democracies are structured to maintain power for the same political class. Not serving people. Serving elites and corporations. The illusion of choice between candidates who answer to the same interests.

But Russia does it and suddenly it's authoritarian. The West does it and it's called democracy.

I'm not saying Russia's system is perfect. I'm saying stop pretending yours is.

If you want Russian people to revolt against their flawed system, maybe look at your own flawed democracies first. Where people have had enough. Where we want change too. But the system is designed so we can't get it.

Power struggles look the same everywhere. The difference is who gets called authoritarian for it.
