@Derbyshirecc A lot of Derbyshire’s white road markings very badly need to be repainted along busy and dangerous unlit country roads, especially on the main tourist routes like to/from Hathersage and from Ladybower to Bamford and also roads to and from Chatsworth Estate.
@cleanupbritain@NationalHways M1 near Tibshelf, but could be anywhere. Filthy overgrown road signs, overgrown SOS call boxes and drains filled with years of uncleared soil and litter and fly tipping and debris even filling the so called Emergency Bays and Hard Shoulders
@benmiskell where can a Blue Badge holder find any clear information about how to access the new Sheffield Station drop off area? The council information tells them to ‘Contact Station staff for a permit’ how exactly are you supposed to do this when contact info isn’t published?
Britain is slowly going bankrupt, we have record number of civil servants (500,000+), with zero meaningful accountability and little works in the public sector.
Have we really reached the point where so-called Council services have to be done by private citizens?
Seemingly so.
@YorkshireWater when will the water leak in the middle of the road outside 22 Sheldon Road, S11 on incident V884983 be fixed? Reported 29th April and inspected by you 19th May….
People on probation out in the 🌞 today at a sheffield park, preparing and painting the perimeter fence .Thanks to the public for all the positive comments given.

Action day today with Sheffield City Council and several other partners clearing an area with longstanding issues around fly tipping youth nuisance ASB Vandalism and off-road vehicles. Stewart, one of our supervisors, seen here with the local councillors.

@cleanupbritain The entire length of the M1 between junctions 25 and 29 has had overgrown and filthy major and minor signs and emergency phones on the verge for over a year! Every time @NationalHways are contacted about this they say it has or will be done, but it hasn’t and seems like it won’t!
@manairport Seriously sort out the absolutely inadequate Terninal signage for the airport from the main roads and the terrible on airport signs for the car parks as well! It’s the worst airport I’ve ever visited in terms of finding your way to the correct terminal or on airport car park!
@SheffieldStar All public drop off / Pick up should be Entry only @ Cross Turner Street via Fornham Street, with mandatory turn left @ Turner Street past the Multi-Story. Then all Taxi pick up should be Entry only @ Turner Street and to the existing 2 drop off and pickup areas! @benmiskell
Sheffield's Christmas markets have been named one of the best in the UK by the @Independent! 🎄

It's wonderful to see people enjoying the festivities and discovering Sheffield's changing city centre.

@olivercoppard@SY_VRU@SheffieldBID Thanks, as you can just about see, no identifying sticker on the bin anymore either, so little wonder it’s being mistaken for some kind of litter or dog waste bin.
@olivercoppard The VRU scheme knife amnesty bin at Sheffield Devonshire Green has never serviced since being installed and is just a useless litter bin. No one will sort it out. Who is responsible for this @SY_VRU@SheffieldBID ?
@robdawn12@sccstreetsahead@HelpSheffield@SheffCouncil The biggest problem as I see it these days is that street sweeping has been reduced to such a low frequency in residential areas that means the sweeping machines and gully cleaners must be so full of leaves and silt that they cannot get very far before emptying. Needs rethinking
@StavesGlyn @sheffcitycentre @SheffieldBID It’s very good to see it this done properly as well so that it can just be overpainted whenever it comes back with the same colour paint. Good job smartening up the city! The big Moore Street sub station could benefit from this as well.
@StavesGlyn@LWYLRotherham Nice work. Any plans with SCC to do Newfield Green shops on Gleadless Road? All the benches and canopies need painting and some lightly damaged brick walls fixing.
@benmiskell Why does SCC not take on the closed mothballed Orchard Square public toilets to quickly provide some safe and much needed facilities right in the middle of where they are badly needed, without need to build something new, or to refurbish something else extremely old?
