I was about to build a credential verification platform.

Before writing code, I ran a discovery audit through my PM toolkit. It tested 7 credential registries, ToS reviewed, API terms confirmed.

Verdict: FAIL. 0 of 7 support programmatic access at <$2 per query with commercial resale rights.

One session. Found before building the integration layer.
