@NorthmanTrader I find it interesting that the peaks in global liquidity in this chart coincide with all the major market lows in the last 25 years. I’m being a bit contrarian, but global liquidity increasing in this instance should be a cause for Caution.
@CollinRugg This seems crazy to me. We have annual driving tests for people over 80, yet no minimum capacity expectations when you’re the leader of the free world.
@NorthmanTrader All well and good. We’ll see how it goes over the next few weeks but we could see a negative divergence start to form, if the market takes out the previous high, but the rsi puts in a lower high. We’re getting into the break zone in this cycle. Just something to keep in mind.
@WallStreetSilv My money right now is with the bond market. 10yr is going to 6.5% by end of the year at this rate. The current trend isn’t likely to change until the fed starts buying bonds again, or the US enters recession, which is still months away.
@StayConvex@adamtaggart@SteveHarney I live in Australia & housing affordability is some of the worst in the world because of migration, and the lack of a proper recession in 30yrs (ex. Covid). If China rolls, unemployment rises & migration falls, combined with high rates, it’s a set up for a significant correction.
@grahamallen@zerohedge Bloody ridiculous!!! Can someone with half a brain, that isn’t due for a nursing home, that isn’t corrupt, and that actually wants to serve the people, please run next year. The current state of govt is a joke! The US is weak, and the world dangerous because of inadequate leaders
@MichaelKantro@JeffWeniger Great charts! The question everyone should be asking is how long can boomers go before they need to liquidate properties to fund their imminent retirement? And who is going to buy them? With Xers and millennials largely unable to afford them. This set up is a big concern.
@spomboy@JamesGRickards Great interview, and will definitely watch it again. I saw this coming and Jim confirmed it. This will cause a tectonic shift in the world order. There is no way this ends with out some kind of major conflict escalation. The 4th turning is shaping up to be pretty hectic.
@KobeissiLetter House prices in the US are cheap! Try buying a house in Australia. Median house price across all cap cities $882,000. Median dwelling value across all Australian regions $586,000. Prices are still climbing with rates going higher. Most mortgage holders are now on floating rates.
@OperationHodl@DiMartinoBooth@business It’s all good because the feds will just print more money and bail out any lender that is a systemic risk. So markets don’t give a rats. This pattern of printing will continue on until the currency is toilet paper but no one cares.
@LinusEkenstam@Greenbaumly Nice job #Qantas. ‘All care and no responsibility’ garbage! So this is why I end up with broken camera gear when I travel with them😡
@WallStreetSilv Such a hypocrite. No respect! Can the US break the leadership drought in 2024? I doubt it! The more I see, the more I realise how corrupt fraudulent and broken it is. It will be a miracle to see anyone with integrity in the White House next year.
