Since the coronavirus pandemic began more than three years ago, the U.S. has suffered wave after wave of loss. The federal declaration of the Covid-19 public health emergency expires on Thursday. Here is a look back at the toll the virus has taken. https://t.co/6tpHGdDWy5

Evidence is particularly strong for relations between perfluoroalkyl substances #PFAS and child and adult obesity, impaired glucose tolerance, gestational diabetes, reduced birthweight, reduced semen quality, polycystic ovarian syndrome, endometriosis, and breast cancer.

“The rubber-stamping of such a project sends a message not just to our generation but humanity as a whole: The future of our planet & the present well-being of frontline communities are being sacrificed for short-term economic gain & political expediency.”

I’d rather be woke — than stupid and racist and Republican.

Not going to lie this video shook me, not because I don't know what we are up against or the fight we are in but because I hadn't seen laid out like this in a short clip. Watch this and fight daily for our freedoms and country. #wtpBlue #DemVoice1 #Fresh

It’s no wonder the American people are skeptical of a system that holds millions of struggling student loan borrowers in limbo but steps in overnight to ensure that billion-dollar crypto firms won’t lose a dime in deposits.

Plastic is absurdly cheap—on paper. But that doesn’t factor in the environmental cost. At every point in plastic’s life cycle—from production to use to disposal—the material is poison, for people and the planet. https://t.co/lwqHB3Ngbq

[Sophie Gabrielle @CodeRedEarth]

I think one of the most important truths in the #ClimateEmergency are those "rates of change" .
We are in "instantaneous shock" in geological terms as @DrVive states here.

Is the US food supply safe? Not so much if you’re eating locally-caught fish! New study analyzed data of PFAS in >500 freshwater fish collected across the US and found eating even 1 serving of fish/year can significantly increase your serum levels of PFOS https://t.co/NUahNJ3EvV
