Following a recent Scottish Pool Association national event it was announced by an administrator that the "stupidity, violence and downright aggression" of players towards each other and tournament staff had created a dangerous environment.

It is hard to overestimate the significance of his contribution towards the current status of blackball pool.
It is a well deserved retirement.
