@BBCWorldatOne@Sarah_Montague There was no need to broadcast his lies and misinformation. This was not an interview, not even in the interest of โbalanceโ but gave this absolute piece of trash an opportunity to be heard.
Iโve lived for 21 years in Scotland, raised(ing) three sons here, taught some hundreds of Scottish children (Burns, Gay Gordons and Three Craws). Iโve even finally been allowed to give blood this year. But today, I got to vote. ๐๐๐โ (Still canโt do the accent)
What strikes me as deeply unpleasant about the Nicola Sturgeon / Alex Salmond situation is that the possible consequence of a powerful man who Sturgeon says acted "deeply inappropriately" towards women could be the destruction of a woman's political career.
@Nigel_Farage Trump still has his First Amendment rights.
But the First Amendment doesn't oblige a private company to act as a megaphone for a demagogue trying to overthrow the results of a legally-certified election so he can avoid criminal prosecution for other offences.
@jordannorth1@BBCR1 You and your โHappy Placeโ! My sonโs list to Santa includes a wish for tickets to Burnley train station and to game. You really sold the place. ๐Hard to read #dyspraxia but itโs #5 in the list.
Dominic Raab hasnโt even read the Good Friday Agreement. His excuse? โItโs not a novelโ. No. Itโs not even a novella. Itโs 35 pages. More of a short story, really. Except itโs not a story - itโs real, with real world consequences that affect lives.
Oh, and itโs HIS JOB.
