🚨 Italian PM Giorgia Meloni responds to President Trump and throws a jab at his Iran deal: “There are things that require an immediate response. Donald Trump's statements are an absolute lie. Honestly, I am appalled. I do not know why the President of the United States behaves this way towards his allies; this is not the first time this has happened. All I can say is that it is a pity that he does not show the same determination towards the enemies of the West, towards the enemies of the United States, and towards leaders towards whom he tends to show a much more forgiving and considerate approach. But he must remember one thing: Italy and I are never submissive."
Before 1967, Egypt occupied Gaza. There were terror attacks toward Israel.
From 1967 until 2005, Israel controlled the enclave. There were terror attacks against Israelis.
When it withdrew unilaterally in 2005, there were no Jews left in Gaza. Terrorists still launched attacks.
Palestinian terrorism from Gaza did not begin with Israel’s control, and it did not end with Israel’s withdrawal. Violence has never been a result of occupation; it has always been about ending the only Jewish nation.

For many, it is more than a symbolic victory: it may mark the beginning of a broader paradigm shift on migration.

Ted Cruz nails it: “Giving billions of dollars to theocratic lunatics who want to murder us is not a good idea. I think the president is unfortunately receiving bad advice on this deal.”
This isn’t complicated. You don’t fund those who want you dead and call it “diplomacy.”
Enough with the bad advice and dangerous deals. America and Israel deserve leaders who put strength and survival first, not wishful thinking with members of Islam’s death cult.
Wake up. This path leads to more October 7ths, not peace.
Don’t allow the Islamic regime to gain anything while they keep calling for our destruction.
What do you think—is this deal dead on arrival?
“What's stopping Iran from down the road restarting their nuclear program?”
JD: “They would have to get a lot of money in order to rebuild their nuclear program. You’re talking about billions."
Yeah if only they got $300 billion from somewhere, right?
I have serious concerns about the MOU. But President Trump has done more damage to the Islamic Republic and its nuclear, war-making, economic and leadership capabilities than any president in 47 years. He deserves the gratitude of Americans and our Middle Eastern allies.
VP JD Vance says the US-Iran deal doesn't talk about Israel withdrawing from southern Lebanon.
He also notes, "Israel would love to get out of southern Lebanon so long as the Hezbollah threat is gone," and affirms that Israel has the right to self-defense.
Israeli PM Netanyahu reiterated today: Israel will remain in the security zone in southern Lebanon as long as Israel's security needs demand it.
You know the U.S.-Iran deal is taking heat when it can't get favorable coverage on Fox News from the former Secretary of State in the first Trump administration.
Mike Pompeo delivered a hard critique today, calling it "foolish at best" to believe Iran will honor its commitments because "they've written [it] down on a piece of paper, something they promised for decades."
He cited 3 significant mistakes in the MOU:
▪️Missiles — "We are going to say it's okay for them have missiles.
▪️Money — Sanctions relief hands Iran billions that they will use to "rebuild many of their programs." Pompeo dismissed Vance's "no American money" assurance: "It doesn't matter if it's American money or not, they are not going to use it to build a healthcare system."
▪️Moderates — "This idea that there are Iranian moderates. There is no such thing. These are all radical Islamists."
His bottom line: "To think that because the Iranians have signed a piece of paper saying that they won't procure a nuclear weapon or they will leave the Strait of Hormuz open...that would be a mistake."
Advice like this — also being delivered by Rubio and other veteran Middle East hawks — appears to be gaining little traction against Trump's determination to get a deal done now.
Jeb Bush, chairman of United Against Nuclear Iran, and the group’s CEO Mark D. Wallace stated on Thursday that the organization cannot endorse the U.S.-Iran memorandum of understanding “in its current form.”

Whether you agree with the Iran deal or not, one thing is clear: having JD Vance go on a media tour and be its spokesman was a spectacular backfire. He convinced no one, lied through his teeth, and the gaslighting was off the charts.
Last night, Iran’s proxy army Hezbollah killed four Israeli soldiers in Lebanon. Hezbollah has repeatedly breached the ceasefire in the last few days including at least one attack on northern Israel.
The Iranian regime has now refused to attend today’s MOU signing because Israel is fighting Hezbollah. It’s unconscionable that the US, dancing to Tehran’s genocidal tune, has already tied Israeli hands in Lebanon and is now pressuring it to withdraw and thus abandon the defence of its people under exterminatory attack --to prop up a deal from whose negotiations Israel was excluded.
It’s despicable that parts of the western media are downplaying or failing altogether to report the Hezbollah attacks and are wickedly presenting Israel’s response as aggression and ceasefire breaches. As they do all the time. @WhiteHouse@realDonaldTrump
