Families are struggling to buy groceries. People are skipping doctor's visits because they can't pay for healthcare.

To be clear, Maduro is a tyrant who has caused great harm to Venezuelans and Americans. 

But this administration knew Americans wouldn’t approve. So they went around their own citizens, violating the Constitution and the conversation Americans not only deserve – but have a Constitutional right to – before any decision of this magnitude. 

Where does this go from here? Will Maduro simply be replaced by another dictator? Will Venezuela go the way of other regime change operations and break down into violence? And will they deploy American troops – our sons and daughters? Not only in Venezuela, but to anywhere around the world that this administration deems necessary with or without the input of the American people? To what end?

Congress has a Constitutional role for a reason. It’s time that our federal elected officials take that role back and for this President to respect it.

This is the first holiday season I’ve *really* noticed everyone is VERY off. Driving today, I saw like ten near-misses. People were driving aggressively & stopping in the middle of the road. Everywhere you go, people are sick, struggling, & not thinking clearly. It’s so sad.
