Retomamos as atividades do nosso I Simpósio nesta tarde com os representantes do Grupo de Pesquisa @ponteUFPR: o professor Jamil Marques (@marquesjamil) e a pós-doc Andressa Kniess (@Butturee).
⚠️🔍 Besides, polarization and digitalization encompass critical junctures forcing us to think about hybrid models of media systems. Considering the critical factors driving such transformations offers new tools to facilitate future empirical and comparative research.
👉👉👉 Changes in patterns of consumption of media products, willingness to subscribe to news content, trust in journalism, and news avoidance are among the issues pointing to the relevance of the role of the public to amplify the explanatory power of a media systems theory.
Through a literature review and the discussion of examples from several countries, the authors claim that material, institutional, and cultural logics of change unfold at different paces in particular media systems.
