“Borets” was killed in action days ago. A Marine commander. One of the finest combat leaders of this war.

Oleksii Yukov, the head of the Platsdarm search and recovery team, has been killed.

For years, Yukov and his team risked their lives recovering the bodies of fallen Ukrainian defenders from active front lines, minefields, and occupied territory, ensuring families could finally bring their loved ones home and lay them to rest with dignity.

Even under constant artillery fire and FPV drone attacks, they never stopped.

He also made a promise to every Ukrainian soldier:

“Come home alive. But if the worst happens, we will find you. We will bring you home. One hundred percent.”

Rest in peace, Oleksii. Thank you for bringing so many heroes home.

🇵🇱 Żołnierz Narodowych Sił Zbrojnych i Narodowego Zjednoczenia Wojskowego, dowódca jednego z najdłużej walczących oddziałów podziemia niepodległościowego. Legenda za życia, symbol walki z komunistycznym zniewoleniem.

🟥 Zdradzony przez agenturę UB, razem z Bronisławem Gniazdowskim „Mazurem”, poległ 14 kwietnia 1951 r. w Szyszkach koło Pułtuska w walce z grupą operacyjną UB–KBW liczącą ok. 300 żołnierzy.

📢 O odnalezieniu i zidentyfikowaniu szczątków bohatera poinformował podczas specjalnej konferencji zorganizowanej w @PrzystanekH zastępca prezesa Instytutu Pamięci Narodowej dr hab. Karol Polejowski.

I did say these things about Ukraine and Zelensky and I am not deleting my posts because I’ve realized, I was wrong.

I was living in a media echo chamber and I was propagandized by Russian media on social media to believe those things.

So I came to Ukraine to see the country for myself. I am going to try to find evidence for the propaganda I’ve been fed, and if I don’t find it, I will let everyone know so they too can come to see the light.

On day one, I’ve already seen photos of dead priests in Bucha murdered by Russia and I saw the mass grave where the bodies of murdered Christians were placed after Russia sent forces from Chechnya to massacre innocent people.

I spoke with officials who rescue POWs and they showed me photos of Ukrainian POWs who had swastikas engraved into their forehead by Russians.

Who are the Nazis? 🤔 I was lied to for years.

I realized Ukraine and @ZelenskyyUa aren’t the jihadi apologists… but Russia and Putin are!

I was wrong! I have a responsibility to correct the record.

Russia is very good at information warfare.
