I don’t think it’s correct to say what Obasanjo said in his letter to Osoba is an attempt to give advantage to Tinubu. Obasanjo is critical of Tinubu’s administration. The only ticket Obasanjo is supporting is the Obi-Kwankwaso ticket which is conspicuously obvious.

There’s a myth that those coming from APC into NDC (who will decamp back as we saw in LP should they win) have a bigger war chest than original Obidients. Thats far from the truth.

I’ve made significant contributions to the NDC on my own volition to ensure the party is great in my constituency. The Delta state NDC Secetary is very much aware of these contributions. Deacon Ken Pela is aware of these contributions. They can’t deny that at all. They are even with receipts. During screening they kept asking me if I was running for Senate as no one else did the things I did. I replied it’s because I want the party of PO to be big in my area.

I am a pillar of the party in my area. Ward Chairmen come to my house every other Sunday for meetings.
I also visit their ward every other week to commune with them and hear their concerns.

I also donated a secretariat to the party in my constituency.

You can’t join the party few days to Primaries and because of the reputation of being in APC say you have a bigger war chest. Not so at all.

The whole Shenanigans happened because the Godfather (who I’m forced to also call leader now) brought his boys from APC to fill in roles.
