How do we keep humanitarian teams connected in Burma after August 17?
@elonmusk@LaurenDreyer@konstructivizm@tslaming@NickSeitz@SpaceX@Starlink I am asking you to prioritize this humanitarian issue and help find a solution before this change takes effect.
Burma has been trapped in a brutal civil war for years. The military has attacked civilians, displaced millions, and severely restricted communications and access to lifesaving information.
The Free Burma Rangers operate on the front lines, providing emergency medical care, evacuating wounded civilians, delivering aid, and documenting what is happening. Starlink is a critical lifeline for this work.
As you are well aware, on August 17th, Starlink is changing its Roam policy. Terminals will be restricted to the country where they are registered. Because Burma has no Starlink service agreement, terminals registered in other countries but operating in Burma will no longer be able to use Roam as they have been.
This could force these humanitarian teams offline or make staying connected prohibitively expensive. This is not about convenience or ordinary internet access. These communications systems are being used to save lives in active conflict zones.
Please create a humanitarian exemption and nonprofit pricing for organizations like the Free Burma Rangers. And please prioritize this before August 17 to help keep this critical lifeline open. Innocent lives depend on it.
Please read the full Free Burma Rangers appeal here. Let’s solve this today!👇

You can fix low scoring by having one of the players (someone that does nothing most of the game) have an opportunity to score if an attempt on goal is unsuccessful. They would try and kick the ball though a different goal, lets make it thin, elevated, and behind the regular goal. We will make regular goals worth six points and the other with three.
@deweydimbabwe@JamesSurowiecki Fouling the offensive player happens all the time in basketball but there’s so much scoring its accepted as part of the game.
You start first. You can easily pay more. Have your accountant fill it out on Schedule A. Gifts to the U.S. government (such as to the Treasury’s general fund or specifically “to reduce the debt held by the public”) qualify as deductible charitable contributions if made solely for public purposes. Please show us the form after you do this.
I will act alarmed the minute the GOP decides to act like it even cares

Do something and stop telling people to be afraid while you sit useless
@BridgetPhetasy They need to add a way if an offensive player misses the goal by just a slight margin another player from the bench can try to kick a field goal for three points.
Along with what others have stated, the right to defend yourself and property is an unalienable right since government protection is limited. The country was founded in a place surrounded by hostile threats. You can’t have settlers and vastly separate citizens unable to defend themselves.
