Developer in love with Node.js, @openjsf board director, CTO @NodeSource - organizer of: @MedellinJS, @NodeConfCO, CityJS Medellin and former @JSConfCO
I’m really excited to announce that today I’m joining @NodeSource as a Developer Relations 🚀💚
This role brings together my three greatest passions: technology, teaching, and building tech communities. I couldn’t feel more aligned with this path. One of the things I admire the most about @NodeSource is its strong commitment to open source, and I’m especially excited to be part of this moment as @NodeSource becomes a GOLD Sponsor of the @openjsf, reinforcing its impact and leadership within the @nodejs ecosystem.
I’m deeply excited to contribute to the @nodejs community, learn alongside it, and serve as a bridge between the engineering team and the community, helping translate complex ideas, share knowledge, and create meaningful spaces for learning, collaboration, and growth. I’m also incredibly happy and honored to work with such an expert team that I truly admire. I’m confident that we’re going to build amazing things together.
A very special thank you to @edsadr, CTO of @NodeSource. His career and impact on the JavaScript and @nodejs community are deeply inspiring. Beyond being a key figure in the @nodejs ecosystem and a strong open-source contributor, Adrián is one of the organizers of @jsconfco, a conference that, as he often says, changes lives. Almost 10 years ago, I had the opportunity to attend @jsconfco on a scholarship, and it truly changed my life. Today, working closely with people who have built and strengthened this community feels incredibly meaningful and reinforces the transformative power of community.
Grateful, excited, and ready for what’s next.
Let’s do this 💪🏼✨
@rauchg@vercel helped my wife and few friends to launch https://t.co/bHv6qfhEPw, career guidance powered by AI, built with Nextjs, AI SDK and hosted in Vercel.
well... not impressed with Firebase Studio, same prompt vs Bolt...
Looks like it will definitely needs more prompting to get decent results; here is an example
@kevinhou22@jarredsumner@bunjavascript@windsurf_ai big fan here, but... honestly, looking forward to seeing the integration for Langchain.js, half of the predictions while working with it require heavy URLs usage to get decent results
I am happy that now I am one of the captains of the Express website, a triage member of Express, and soon a committer of the compression package. All of this has happened during this month 🥳🥳🥳
during my closing... I forgot to thank someone really special for me that also works @NodeSource... sorry @LizzParody, you are amazing, thanks for the hard work and the support... is hard when you are speaking up there with a lot of emotions running through your veins
El próximo año trabajaremos para tener a toda la comunidad de JS de LATAM reunida bajo el mismo techo, comenzando en Colombia en el 2026 y más países en el futuro
Next year, we will look for LATAM JS communities to meet under the same roof, starting in Colombia and 2026...
Mi admiración por @edsadr por echarse al hombro con tanta pasión la comunidad de JavaScript y sacar adelante @CityJSMedellin con tremendo equipo. Nos vemos el otro año en JSConf LATAM.
