I just analyzed the performance of the top 15 memecoins (excluding AI agents) since their ATHs and the results are shocking 🧵

$DOG was the best performing memecoin and has held up the strongest!

$DOG is closely followed by $PEPE and $SPX which are also organic, bottom up communities

Interestingly the worst performing memecoins were the corporate controlled tokens like $NOT and $PNUT that did not have organic communities and that @binance pumped inorganically

The major takeaway is that cutting corners by paying off CEXs, KOLs, VCs, and market makers to promote a memecoin to retail is not how you build longterm value because it's effectively a coordinated pump and dump by insiders

The only way to build real longterm value is to sustainably grow a bottom up, organic community of hardcore believers over time like $DOG has
