We’re thrilled to invite you to the upcoming @CompAtSch community meeting, Transition from Blocks to Text with @edu_blocks on Thursday, 19 Sep 2024 at 4pm
The session will focus on learning the basics of EduBlocks from @all_about_code https://t.co/V25t4lcv8H
Hey Allen! We are using @edu_blocks It allows teachers to create classroom and assignments. Children can login with their school MS or Google accounts & they can access Edublocks at home too. Their work is auto saved as they go. I use it with GCSE - there is python block coding too for those that need a bit more support.
@MrLovellComp@edu_blocks Genius! @MrLovellComp Just went through my planning for inputs, outputs and variables and using @edu_blocks is just so beautiful. Thank you so much for the recommendation. #GameChanger Should have made greater use of @edu_blocks since I first saw the platform back in 2020...

@shirleycrossley Oops, well that wasn’t intentional but definitely a side effect of using a random generator 🙈.
We’ll work on filtering out these variations of codes so it doesn’t happen in the future 🙂.
@arooneycompsci Glad to hear that you like it!
The best way is to use the "Clone Assignment" feature when you go to create an assignment in the new classroom.
So is it just me that didn't realise the @microbit_edu LEDs were adjustable per-pixel? 😲
Playing around with Python via @edu_blocks. Hadn't noticed this before 🤦♂️
@atto83 We've recently gained the capability to do so behind the scenes and it's on our list of things to add for users short-term, so hope to have something to share soon!

@edu_blocks@HelloWorld_Edu@eslweb We have used the classroom functionality in @edublocks, its great! Set assignments, assess/give feedback to pupil work all from inside the classroom tool 😀
We're featured in the latest @HelloWorld_Edu magazine, Issue 23!
Learn more about our free classrooms functionality on pages 68-69 and how it can help you deliver coding lessons to your students.
Thank you to @eslweb for the article!

Great way to end the half term with @Y6StocktonWood. The class were introduced to Python and loved experimenting drawing different shapes and making their code more efficient by adding loops! #stocktonwoodcomputing@edu_blocks
