Using Github Copilot is such a strange experience. The results flip between "no, and please stop wasting my time!" to "Yes please, and how could you have possibly known I wanted that?". I'm curious to see how it improves over time. For me, it is already worth the 10.-/mo.

@domm I usually focus on the projects they have listed in their CV, but if there is time, I always ask which book they have recently read that they would recommend to me and my team. The book doesn’t have to be technical.

@egee_irl I‘m not interested in configuring my Arch desktop from scratch and want it to „just work“ so I can focus on getting shit done. Still appreciate its flexibility though.

If the shell script I’m writing requires a conditional, I’ll replace the whole thing with a Python script.
