Lovely to see all the posts of #strathPGDE closing ceremony today. So proud β¨ Sad that I could not complete the course, but dealing with my dads illness was too difficult. I was able to be with him when he died on Monday and his beautiful garden in Wales is soothing my soul πΊβοΈ
@paulaapettit Thanks Paula. He was incredibly proud of me π₯Ή I didnβt tell him I had not completed the PGDE because I didnβt want him to think it was his fault x
@NovaLauderScott Thanks Nova x
You should hear the sounds here! A burn running along the far side of the pond you can see, a fountain in a small pond on the deck behind me and every bird in Wales is singing! IοΏ½οΏ½οΏ½m watching a moorhen family and fish jumping in the pond. Itβs magical, but bittersweet
@gmac_mcneil Thank you Gillian - I loved your maths lectures and was always so happy to be on campus. I left school without enough quals to get into uni, spent my 40s getting a degree with the OU and at the grand old age of 50 finally made it to university - and I loved every minute!
Introduced the children to the Stonehaven Fireballs - what a spectacular start to 2023 despite the dodgy (and long) drive home! Happy new year, lang may yer lums reek π΄σ §σ ’σ ³σ £σ ΄σ Ώ π₯ β€οΈ
What a wonderful day celebrating my achievements with my fellow OU graduates today. Inspiring and emotional. Think I blubbed my makeup off in the first ten minutes. #OUfamily@OpenUniversity@OU_EdPrimary#firstclasshonours
